Quick Setup
Installing Curseforge App
Curseforge app will make downloading mods a piece of cake!
Simply get it from here.
You can use the standalone version
Choose all default settings during the installation.
Once installed boot up the app. A window will appear asking to log into your Minecraft account where you can login using Microsoft.
Installing Fabulously Optimized
Fabulously Optimized is an already made modpack which contains all the optimization and graphical mods you will ever need.
We will use this here as an example as its the fastest way to get things going for you.
- Click on the 'Modpacks' tab in curseforge app
- Search for "Fabulously Optimized"
- Click on "Install"
- Install Fabulously Optimized modpack
- Go back in modpack view, select your newly downloaded pack and hit play
